What types of fish do you target on Lake Erie?
Walleye and yellow perch are our primary targets. Depending on the season, you may also encounter smallmouth bass, steelhead, or other species.
When is the best time to fish for walleye?
Spring (April-June) is great for trophy fish in shallower waters. Summer (July-August) represents peak season with excellent action. Fall (September-October) offers both size and quantity.
When is the best time to fish for perch?
Late summer into fall (August through October) is prime time for perch when schools gather and the action can be fast-paced.
Do I need a fishing license?
Yes, all guests age 16 and older must have a valid Ohio fishing license. You can purchase online through the Ohio Department of Natural Resources or at local bait shops.
What should I bring on the trip?
Bring your valid fishing license, weather-appropriate clothing with layers and rain gear, non-marking shoes, snacks and drinks (alcohol permitted, no glass bottles), and a cooler for your catch.
Do you provide the fishing equipment?
Yes! All rods, reels, bait, and tackle are supplied. You're welcome to bring your own personal gear if you prefer.
How long are your fishing charters?
Most trips last 4-7 hours, with half-day and full-day options available.
How many people can go on a charter?
Our boat accommodates up to 6 guests comfortably. For larger groups or corporate trips, please contact us to discuss options.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety is our top priority. If we need to cancel due to weather, you'll have the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
Do you clean and bag the fish?
Yes, fish cleaning and bagging are offered after trips. This may be included or available for a small fee depending on your package.
Can kids come along?
Absolutely! Children are welcome and we love introducing young anglers to fishing. Kids need adult supervision at all times, and life jackets will be provided.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made 24+ hours prior receive full refunds. Cancellations within 24 hours may forfeit deposits. Weather-related cancellations made by the captain are always refunded or rescheduled.
